Are you trying to make a whole new game that takes place in hoenn?

well if so, i'd suggest you make the following changes to the original plot(i will be scripting AquaSaphire. flip everything in LavaRuby):
get rid of wally
only maxie will be an antagonist. archie will be the protagonists mentor. also, get rid of team aqua.
the antagonist is battled only once, during the climax. after battling maxie, the protagonist will be prompted to battle groudon.
instead of steven being the the champion, the champion is actually archie, who, as would be learned right before battling him, betrayed the antagonist.
